Carter is from what can tactfully be referred to as "a simpler time", aka the time of being a white American guy in the early 1940s. He means well but he's still a sheltered doofus. This may lead to him saying or thinking things that are ignorant or inadvertently offensive, particularly regarding groups he's unfamiliar with (such as people of other nationalities or openly LGBTQIA people). Being a friendly and eager-to-please person he'll usually stop if someone points it out to him, but there's a lot to unlearn.

However, I want to have permission from the player before he busts out the Orientalisms and other isms. He definitely will not be using any blatantly offensive terms, even those that were considered 'okay' in his day but are considered offensive in 2019.

Because the MCU casted a white person for Wanda Maximoff, she is a white-passing half-Romani/half-Jewish character. But it's a thing. She's also not shy about hiding her pansexuality.

I'm okay with him being ic around her.

Klaus here is pansexual and very genderfluid with his clothing choices.
He's also a war vet himself.

Thanks! I'll note that Carter's not actively bigoted for the most part, just uneducated and prone to foot-in-mouth disease. If Klaus calls him out on something he'll likely at least try to do it less.

Finn here is gay and currently dating another man, on top of not even being human.

Anders ([personal profile] rebelhealer is bisexual and has PTSD.

Kurt ([personal profile] youarespecial) is also very clearly not human, but he wears a human disguise when he goes out so it's not immediately obvious.

Carter is free to be unintentionally offensive with all of them.

Anton Roudin looks like a literal devil. He's also bisexual due to my usual tendency to make all characters bisexual unless directly stated otherwise, but since he's not currently dating anyone or actively looking, that's unlikely to come up.

Jonathan Walsh is a lizard person who is currently dating another man. He's also unlikely to be overly upset at much Carter says, and will mostly find his blunders amusing.

I am totally fine with any and all offensive terms being used in regards to either character.

Though he's been on a team with a Frenchman so that's not as weird as it could be.
